Let's get your pie crust chops ready for the season! We'll show you a couple techniques that will boost both your skills and confidence. Using our foundation flaky crust recipe, we'll learn how to judge texture and flavor, how to mix and roll with ease. Then we'll do some substitutions to jazz it up for nut pies, for savory pies, for chocolate pies. Then we'll make some pie to fill up our crusts, and everyone takes home their dough (which freezes very well for Thanksgiving baking, to save you a little time in a few weeks.). Recipes and pies and learning all go home with you. This is a fun class!
Sunday, Nov. 4, 12-3 pm. Maximum number of participants is 8. We'll provide aprons and rolling pins and all needed materials.
