Sunday, January 20, 12-2 pm. - Fresh Winter Pasta
Learn to make a basic easy fresh pasta - with no special tools needed - just a bowl, a mixing spoon, and a rolling pin! Niles Pie co-owner and head baker, Sarah Vegas shows us how simple this really is, and how worth it. You'll learn a variety of shapes and techniques for pastas made with vegetables, as well as filled and un-filled pastas. And you need some tips for quick and easy sauces to show off the pasta. We'll make enough to share at the shop, with a toast to our efforts. Everyone will go home with fresh-made pasta, recipes and some great new skills!
Maximum class size is 8. We'll provide aprons and all the needed materials. And a bit of wine and cheese to go with our pasta...
