About Rita Hosking: “In scorching form” (The Telegraph), Northern California’s Rita Hosking sings of culture clash, dishes, forest fires, the working class, and hope. She's a natural storyteller, a captivating songwriter, and a down-to-earth performer with a soul-stirring voice that's been characterized as "fragile as a newborn baby, and defiant as a West Virginia coal miner." Her latest of six award-winning albums, the hero’s journey themed “Frankie and the No-Go Road,” was praised by Maverick as having “more authenticity and integrity than you can shake a stick at.” Rita plays and sings with her talented husband, Sean Feder, on sparkling dobro and melodic banjo, and he knows exactly when to step in gracefully, or give her space. Together, they deliver what Acoustic Magazine calls “timeless, unhurried elegance.”
Plus Rita does my very favorite version of Dylan's "Farewell Angelina." For more about Rita Hosking and her music: https://www.ritahosking.com/home
