Here's some of the folks who we get our ingredients from, people who whose services keep us rolling, and other folks we just love so much we have to acknowledge them too!
Farms & Farmer Friends:
J.E. Perry Farm: Here in Fremont, at Ardenwood. Organic pumpkins, potatoes, squashes, and the most gorgeous head of lettuce you'll ever see, right here in Fremont! And they love pie!
Prevedelli Orchard: Down in Watsonville, these guys grow my favorite organic apples ever. Gravensteins, Jonagolds, Mutsus. And their Warren Pears are heaven on earth.
Inzana Ranch: Here's where we get organic nuts. Walnuts, Almonds, Pecans. They also carry the best figs I've ever eaten. I hope when I die, I'm tasting one of their Panache Tiger figs, so that I have that taste for eternity.
Nunez Organic Farm: They're at the Irvington Farmer's Market on Sundays. I get a lot of peppers and herbs from them. I'm also very partial to their lettuces.
LEAF: Local Ecology and Agriculture Fremont. A local organization that helps develop community & school gardens, hosts dinners and has a terrific community garden right here in Niles.
Terra Bella Family Farm : Right through the canyon on Foothill Rd. in Pleasanton. These fine folks raise chickens and goats, and organically farm acreage over at the Sunol Water Temple, to bring you some of the best produce in the Bay Area.
Other places you can get our Pie:
Mr. Mikey's Country Store: Here in downtown Niles. The go-to place in town when you need last minute groceries or something for dinner. They also have ridiculously good dolmas and baklava. The nicest and friendliest family who constantly contribute in countless ways to the Niles community.
Mission Coffee Roasters: They roast fabulous coffee, host a great concert series, and make a killer sandwich.
GourMade Cookery: We share their kitchen. I've been known to borrow a cup of sugar on occasion as well. They offer ready-made meals to solve your dining quandaries!
Friends and Relations, and Businesses too:
Content Innovations: The fabulous Natalie Munn and Nydia Estrada help me figure out my website.
David Drew Longey: Designer of my logo. Old friend and incredibly talented artist of many genres. If it weren't for Dave's logo I'd probably have 3 customers.
Pamela Soap: Niles local, and maker of the best soap around. Personally, the Rose Clay is a fave.
Pie Corps: On the other coast, one of my best and oldest friends is also a pie aficionado.
Niles Main Street Association: The place to go to find out what's going on in Niles. Business, community, neighborhood.
